Thought field therapy is based on an ancient form of healing that is at least 5000 years old. The tapping points used in TFT treatment are at the ends of energy meridians, located just beneath the surface of the skin.  By tapping energy centers on yourself in a specific order, you can eliminated forms of trauma, uncomfortable feelings, smells, tastes, sounds, touches, flashbacks, nightmares, memories of any kind, any kind of trigger that might be filed away in your mind no matter how old it is, so that it does not bother you anymore. 

What is Thought Field Therapy (TFT)?

Sometimes people are diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). TFT can help alleviate these symptoms as well. It works with young children, seriously mentally ill adults, as well as the elderly. 

How it Works

We use what is called Subjective Units of Distress (SUD). It’s a scale from 0-10. Ten is the worst, you can hardly make yourself think about it, it’s so upsetting. At the opposite end of the scale is zero, whatever it is you’ve chosen to address, and it is blank, you can’t see it anymore. From a scale from zero to 10, you pick the number that matches the intensity of an emotion that you’re feeling. You’re using the energy centers of your body, tapping on yourself to heal yourself. It’s a shift at the cellular level and it is extremely, highly effective.
